Status: Part-Time

Skill Requirements
– Must be able to talk to others to convey information effectively.
– Must be able to do Active Listening. Give full attention to what members/guests are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
– Actively looking for ways to help the members.
– Reading Comprehension- Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. i.e. Employee and Member Policy Handbooks.
– Must able to handle customers in a professional manner
– Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills
– Excellent typing skill.

Physical Requirements
– Must be able to lift 10lbs
– Must be able to stand for long periods at a time (4hrs)

Job Duties/Responsibilities
– Greet each and every member/guest Entering and exiting the club
– Club Security (No person may pass the desk without checking in)
– Answering phones/transferring calls
– Overhead paging
– Data entry
– Filing
– Book appointments (Spa, tennis courts, tennis lessons, swimming)
– Operate cash register (Sales of Pro Shop, personal training, payment of classes….)
– Must be able to prioritize in a fast past work environment
– Must be Punctual
– Light cleaning of work area
– Must be CPR/1st AID/AED certified
– Organizing mail/deliveries for different departments
– Closing Announcements (30mins before closing)

Service Desk Opener
– Arrive 30 minutes prior to opening of club to perform opening duties.
