This position is responsible for coordinating projects and activities for marketing products or services by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• List & coordinates the creation and production of sales, marketing, and packaging materials.
• Coordinates advertising schedules and placement.
• Ensures full representation of Tempco Manufacturing by sales rep’s throughout the entire U.S.
• Responsible for design/redesign and maintenance of Tempco Manufacturing’s website for optimum exposure and related results.
• Sets and monitors goals for each sales representative organization to ensure growth.
• Develops and executes comprehensive marketing plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales and revenue objectives of Tempco.
• Reviews specification sheets, obtains, and prepares bids, and acts as liaison with vendors in such areas as delivering marketing material, scheduling proofs, and meetings.
• Maintains customer-database and generates internal database information, such as lists and counts for direct marketing projects.
• Tracks, collates, and maintains inventory of marketing materials.
• Maintains inventory of photo work, artwork, and film, and maintains marketing literature, archive files, and sample files.
• Coordinates tradeshow exhibits, promotions, packaging, shipping, and staff travel plans, and travels to and participates in trade shows when necessary.
• Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist sales representatives in promoting sales revenue thru marketing programs.
• Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
• Helps prepare for involvement in community organizations and events.
• Serves as liaison with outside agencies on ongoing promotional campaigns.
• Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts to provide feedback for future product development.
• Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
• Assists in managing marketing budget.
• Plans and oversees execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show and direct mail.
• Determines agencies and negotiates contract terms and conditions for major services such as advertising, corporate identity packages, etc.
• Provides post-event reports, analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.
• Ensure that all ISO9001 procedures are being followed as it pertains to his /her job responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license

compensation: Total compensation package $50-70K; $1000 bonus at 90 days
