Lead Mitigation Technician
Our services include emergency water mitigation, locating and drying of water damage, wind and hail damage, personal property cleaning & storage, all general insurance repairs, major structural repairs, smoke and odor removal, and also the reconstruction of homes impacted by water, fire, wind, and hail damage.

Ideal candidate qualifications:

3+ years of previous Mitigation Technician experience in the restoration industry (Lead Water Technician, Mitigation, Remediation, Water Damage, Emergency Loss, Insurance Restoration Loss, Construction Production Manager, and Disaster Relief & Restoration)

Multiple skills in Board Ups, Water Damage, Fire Damage, Contents Cleaning, Remediation and General Demolition.

IICRC Current Water Restoration Technician Certification desired but not required

Experience with MICA & Moisture Mapper; Xactimate/XactAnalysis a plus

Basic carpentry & mechancial skills a plus

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Basic math skills, able to figure sq. ft., linear ft., etc.

Must be able to lift or move a minimum of 50-75 pounds and be comfortable on your feet for continued periods of time.

Must have the ability to work in various environments indoors, outdoors, inclement weather, smoke or other hazards of a demolition and reconstruction environment.

Must have a professional appearance, positive attitude, and be punctual.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle history check

Current Valid Driver’s License – Required

Ability to handle emergency calls on a 24-hour basis when on call rotation

Responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

Inspect properties for damage and complete specific drying and monitoring processes of water, fire, and contents damaged homes. This would include the set up and take down of drying equipment, and complete the drying and monitoring process of monitoring temperatures, relative humidity, and specific humidity with moisture detection equipment. Complete any necessary paperwork such as taking pictures and recording detailed job notes for specific software.

Extract water from flooded areas.

Work through and remove demolition or damaged items such as flooring, drywall, cabinets and furniture removal.

Communicate efficiently and professionally to ensure the customer that their property is going to be handled with the greatest care. Communicate any concerns, problems, or complaints on assigned projects to the appropriate staff in a timely manner.

Clean and maintain all tools, equipment, supplies and assigned vehicle.

Collect any funds owed at the time of service if required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly pay depends on experience with the potential earnings with overtime and incentives
