kitchen manager (ghost kitchen)

The Butcher’s Son is expanding into the L.A area this year, we will be opening a ghost kitchen in the coming weeks while we look for a brick & mortar space, we are looking for an experienced cook to manage and operate our ghost kitchen space with the potential to grow with our company and move to our restaurant space with us in the near future. We are a plant-based company based out of Berkeley, CA with one restaurant and an off-site commercial kitchen.

Responsibilities include:

managing inventory/ordering
managing kitchen schedule
hiring/training additional cooks as needed
quality control
oversight of daily (5 days a week) opening/closing procedures.

must be available afternoons and evenings and weekends are required.

This is a small kitchen space with a small menu, primarily sandwiches and salads requiring a crew of no more than 2-3 people including yourself. Our future restaurant space will be a much larger operation with a pay increase to reflect the increase in responsibilities.
