Crocus Landscaping is looking for a Horticulture/ Landscape Supervisor in our softscape division.
Requirements:
It is essential you have extensive horticultural knowledge and ability to easily identify most plants. Ideally you are red seal certified.
– completed a horticulture program at an accredited institution
– minimum 3 years residential landscaping experience in the Vancouver area
– positive attitude, polite, confident with strong initiative
– great problem solving abilities and very organized
– physically fit
– hard worker, productive in various weather
– valid driver’s licence, clean record
– attentive to detail
– skilled at working with, and maintaining, equipment
– excellent communication skills
Duties Include:
– planning, designing and estimating projects
– choosing, ordering and installing plant materials
– organizing, running and supervising small crews
– communicating with clients
– preparing billing – we use lmn software
– scheduling the day’s/ week’s work
– submitting timesheets
– driving and maintaining company vehicles
– landscape improvements
– planting/ softscape installations
– interviewing, hiring, training and developing team members
– working with irrigation and lighting systems
– bending, reaching, lifting
