Experienced Salon Receptionist Needed 📞

ROIL Salon Beverly Hills is looking for a front desk co-ordinator. This position is at the heart of the salon, so we are looking for a tuned in individual, who loves to be in a creative environment and has a history of great customer service. We are very sanitary and uphold the strictest covid compliancy. If you have no experience as a receptionist please do not apply.

Responsibilities and duties:

-Greeting clients and staff

-Maintaining excellent customer service standards. Someone that is knowledgeable and courteous with both clientele and staff.

-The ability to multi task is important. You will often need to answer the phone, schedule and assist clients at the desk in a coordinated and timely manner.

-Scheduling clients in the Boulevard scheduling platform (knowledge of the system is a plus)

-Being able to relay information in between stylists and clientele in a timely and courteous manner.

-Selling product

-Stocking supplies
-Following salon health protocols and able to implement them amongst the staff.

-Supporting the salon with miscellaneous tasks.

-Managing social media.

-Maintaining an organized front desk and sales area.

Qualities:

-Must be a team player. Working at the front desk requires the ability to communicate properly and thoroughly between the manager and the rest of the front desk team.

-Front desk experience required, being responsible front of house team member and having experience scheduling appointments is important to us. Since this position is available immediately we will not be responding to applications without experience.

-We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and eager to support the salon in its daily functioning. This can range from running errands for last minute supply needs to creating stories for our social media. We are looking for someone who is very adaptable to the changing needs and demands of the day to day functioning of the salon and can remain as cool as a cucumber 🙂

-Having a strong sales skillset is necessary–the ability to inform clientele on our various product lines and assist with their product needs is a constant and a great way to earn lots of extra income

-Knowledge of social media platforms and strong willingness to engage with our online community, part of your skill set will be doing IG stories daily where possible, we love a creative candidate.

-Punctuality

Schedule availability:

The salon is open 6 days a week. We require a degree of open availability. Shifts vary from morning to early afternoon for closing (eg 8am – 3pm) and afternoon to evening (eg 12pm – 7pm).
