We are currently hiring for a fully knowledgeable & experienced Construction Bookkeeper/Controller for our Orlando office. This position requires complete QuickBook knowledge of all A/P & A/R financial records including purchasing, sales, payments and creates & analyzes financial records ensuring compliance regarding all legal requirements. Processes A/P & A/R, managing invoices, tax payments and retainages. The ideal candidate holds a Finance degree (preferably followed by accounting CPE courses) and is completely knowledgeable with accounting practices and software packages such as Freshbooks, Kashoo, and Kashflow. The bookkeepers’ responsibilities are to accurately record the day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process for the company. Perform partial checks of the posting process. Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer’s ledger and the general ledger. Complete tax forms. Enter data, maintain records, per diem reports and reconcile financial statements. Handle payroll in a timely manner utilizing ADP payroll processing.

Must have proven track record with bookkeeping experience with the ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures & financial records. Solid understanding of accounting principles. Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. Proficiency in English (Bilingual Spanish a plus) and MS Office. High degree of accuracy, multi-tasking and attention to detail required. BS in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
